Gurkha Platoon Gallery - Picture 6

Table top layout for Stargrunt II demonstration events hosted all weekend by Adrian, during the Toronto Trek convention, August 2001. The battle in progress is one platoon of Gurkha light infantry vs. a reinforced platoon of Saeed Khalifate mercenary infantry, including PA. The scenario was designed as a meeting engagement between two forces of roughly equal size and "potential", skirmishing through a ruined village being used as a forward supply base. The battle was won by the Gurkhas, who made short work of the Khalifate PA troops with IAVR volley fire.
